New hand-carved stamps ready to be mounted on wood blocks:

Here is the little saw I use to cut the wood blocks.  Adorable, isn't it?

Now I just have to do some sanding and create the labels!

Springtime in Pocatello

Well, we thought Spring had truly sprung once the Dandelions started to bloom, but as you can see, Mother Nature thought it would be amusing to drop more snow on us.  I have been worrying all week about it raining for the opening day of the Farmer's Market, but we may actually have to worry about the white stuff instead!  Here are a couple of journals I will have available:

Clay People

The finished product of a work in process I posted a few days ago!  Polymer clay people, painted in acrylics,  with eyes from a polymer clay cane,  and assembled with twisted wire and jump rings. These two characters are destined for some stop-motion animation projects.

HA HA! PROOF!

     So, I twittered and facebooked* that I was going to spend my weekend CREATING and MAKING STUFF after two weeks of being sick, and pretty much spending my weekends napping and eating soup. (And going to rehearsals for a dance concert in March, but rehearsals are pretty much a constant in my life. It's a little like mentioning that I spent time breathing.  or reading.) 

So, TAA-DA!

I didn't actually get as much done as I would have liked, because I took a "percussion for choreographers" master class on Friday, and we spent some lovely time together as a family on Saturday.  (And Sunday I had...yup, that's right, REHEARSAL!)  But I did find time to make this flower bobby pin.
